Rules, Regulations, Procedures & Etiquette The courts are available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, except during periods blocked for events, tournaments, and maintenance.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Adult members always have court privileges over Juniors.

2. CHILDREN: Young children should not be left unattended in the Hut or on Club grounds.

3. RESERVATIONS: On-line reservations can be made on-line through the Club website at glensfallscountryclub.com Players are asked to reserve a court when wishing to play on either weekdays and weekends. Players are permitted a maximum of 1.5 hours of play time.


Weekend Play: Saturday & Sunday open play is from 8 AM to 12:00 PM for men. Saturday open play is 12:00 PM to 2 PM for women. Mixed/Blended open play is from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. After 2 PM, reservations can be made on a Saturday or Sunday by any Paddle player who is part of a 4some.

Courts cannot be held when people are waiting to play. Please be courteous to your fellow members.

An unoccupied court may be used by any player subject to the bumping rule. A “no show” court is forfeited fifteen minutes past the sign-in start time. Tournaments, matches, and round robins have court priority over individual sign-ins.


4. PADDLE ROUND ROBIN PLAY COURTESY: Tradition has been that everyone plays with members regardless of ability. When a player of stronger ability plays with those of lesser ability, he/she should adjust their play accordingly so as not to intimidate those players.

5.COURT SIGN-UP COURTESY: If you sign up to play on any occasion, don’t arrive and then desert your group to play with another group because a better offer comes along. If you cannot play, take your name off the sign-up slot, try to find a replacement, and notify the group you are playing with.

6. GUEST SIGN-IN: All members must sign-in guests on court reservation system PRIOR to play (unless it’s a member/guest tournament or interclub match).

7. LIGHTS: Please be sure all 3 court light switches inside the paddle hut entrance is turned-off when you leave the court at night in addition to the two table lamps and overhead lights in the hut.

8. HEATERS: Court heaters should be used to burn off snow and ice and for safety purposes only. Please be sure the court heater switch inside the paddle hut entrance is turned-off when you leave the court.

9. BUMPING: Doubles may bump singles at any time regardless of advance play or sign-ups. A group playing a second time is subject to bumping by those who have not yet played that day. Bumping can occur only during the first 15 minutes of play.

10. DRESS: Any warm clothing may be worn. Wear only sneakers with rubber soles. Composition soles are discouraged because they can be slippery when courts are wet. Leather soled shoes and bare feet are prohibited. 1

1. RESTROOM: The Grill Room bathrooms are open Wednesday-Sunday. The Ladies Room in the Pro[1]Shop is open to both men and women after golf season ends. Since this will be a unisex bathroom/locker room, please be sure to change the sign on the door when entering and leaving and please keep the area CLEAN. A Porta-Potty is located in the gravel parking lot area for your convenience.

12. PARTY RESERVATIONS: Any member wishing to reserve the hut and courts for a private party must contact Morgan Beldock. Notification must be at least one week in advance.

13. EMERGENCY: In case of an emergency, dial 911. You are located at 211 Round Pond Road Queensbury, NY 12804 (near the Great Escape Amusement Park)
